Jenny Powell
Keith and Sue Powell decided to celebrate their daughter Jenny's Bsc (Hons) and BVSc Degrees from Bristol University with a quarter acre dedication in Jenny's name in Granner Wood, Presteigne, in Powys.
Keith wrote: In Jenny's first university year, studying to be a vet, she spent her 'lambing time' at a farm in Bleddfa, Powys and has returned every year since to help out or visit. She has become firm friends with the family and loves the local area. We wanted to give her recognition for her degree achievements, but rather than a traditional gift, we thought a woodland dedication in Grannar Wood, which is close to the farm, would be particularly meaningful. Jenny was absolutely delighted with her gift and will be able to visit 'her' piece of woodland for years to come - a permanent reminder of the happy times she spent at Bleddfa during her University years.
